Twitter, Facebook and other social media are great social media tools for journalists and provide instant feedback in real-time and allow journalists to get a digital pat-on-the-back or a disapproving wag-of-the-finger from the general public depending on a number of factors. I strive for the former. Here is one such example: One of my most recent blog postings was “Plus-One’d” (on Google Plus [+] – a now defunct social media platform) by others besides myself and “Recommended” on Facebook by several people other than me.
